Dabur India Ltd distributes flood relief items in Baksa district

GORESWAR: Dabur India Ltd came forward to distribute flood relief to the affected people of Goreswar in Baksa district. As the west embankment of the Puthimari River has been breached, many villagers of Bagaribari village under Goreswar revenue circle area were affected. Seven families were rendered homeless and have been taking shelter in relief camps. In order to distribute relief materials, the company took help from the NGO Uttar Betna Samaj Sangskarak Bahini (UBSSB) of Maharipara. The NGO distributed food packets containing rice, masur dal, potatoes, mustard oil, soap and salt, along with a mosquito net. The relief items also included Dabur products like fruit juice. At least 173 families received essential commodities in the programme held on Sunday.
