DAC Election: Presiding and Polling officers' training held in Lakhimpur district

LAKHIMPUR: The second phase training of the Presiding Officers, First Polling Officers, Second Polling Officers and Third Polling Officers, engaged for the Deori Autonomous Council (DAC) Election -2022 to be conducted on November 8, was held in Lakhimpur district on Thursday.

The event was organized in the conference hall of the office of the Inspector of Schools, Lakhimpur district. The training programme was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Sumit Sattawan in the presence of Election Observer Arup Pathak. Attending the event, Election Observer Arup Pathak interacted with the presiding and polling officers regarding various polling related issues.

A total of 33 Presiding Officers, 33 First Polling Officers, 33 Second Polling Officers and 33 Third Polling Officers took part in the training which was conducted by master trainers Dr. Diganta Hatibaruah, Dr Chittaranjan Borah, Ranjit Paul and Sahidul Ahmed. The first phase of the training concerned was conducted in the district on October 31.
