Darrang Police recovered stolen bikes

MANGALDAI: Darrang Police, under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Er Sushanta Biswa Sarma, in the last three days of intensified operation against the organized gang of criminals, recovered seven stolen motorcycles and a stolen Tata DI vehicle.

In the continuous operation carried out by the in-charge of Pothorughat Police Outpost under Sipajhar Police Station, three notorious bike lifters have also been arrested. They are Riyajul Alam, son of Giyasuddin Ahmed of village Shantipukhuri under Sipajhar Police Station, Raju Ali, son of Bubul Ali of village Soto Athiyabari under Mangaldai Police Station, and Pranab Boro, son of Moni Ram Boro of village Jajikona under Rangia Police Station in Kamrup (rural) district.
