Darrangi Ranadhwani organized to protest against CAA

MANGALDAI: As many as 2,000 agitating people of Darrang district on Sunday joined the ‘Darrangi Ranadhwani’, jointly organized by Darrang district unit of AASU, AJYCP and Axam Xahitya Xabha, to lodge their strong protest against CAA. Twelve other social organizations also joined their hands in organizing the unique protest organized at Gandhi Maidan here. A large number of artistes of the district also took part in it and performed patriotic songs as a mark of protest. General secretary of Axam Xahitya Xabha, Padum Rajkhowa, organizing secretary of AASU, Raju Phukan and journalist Adip Phukan, taking part in the protest rally, heavily came down on both the Union and State Government for introducing CAA aiming to totally damage and destroy the very structure of Assamese culture, heritage and identity.
