Deer Calf Rescued by Local people at Laharighat in Morigaon

MORIGAON: The inhabitants of Holloukunda under Laharighat block on Monday rescued a deer on the bank of the Brahmaputra. The locals ran after the deer along the Brahmaputra and caught it. Later, they handed over the deer to Laharighat Police. The police assured the locals that they would hand over the deer to the forest officials. People suspect that the deer had come out from Orang National Park and reached the area.
