Defendant Ramiz Ali Escapes from Police Custody, Re-arrested at Morigaon

MORIGAON: A defendant, Ramiz Ali escaped after he was arrested by police at Morigaon PS on Wednesday. Though the defendant escaped from police custody, yet he was re-arrested by the police. According to information, Ramiz Ali did not pay money as demanded by his wife. She made an allegation against him in the court and demanded money. Ramiz was arrested for defaming the court. He escaped from police custody and hid in the toilet from where he was arrested again.
