Demise of Binapani Devi condoled in Udalguri

UDALGURI: People have condoled the demise of the first woman president of Udalguri Sahitya Sabha, Binapani Devi. She died at the age of 68 years. She was admitted in a private nursing home in Guwahati.

A condolence meeting was held at Udalguri Sahitya Sabha Bhavan. Manik Chandra Sarma, the former president of Udalguri district Sahitya Sabha, Gayatri Bhattarai, the president of Udalguri district Nepali Sahitya Sabha, and other dignitaries commemorated the life and works of Binapani Devi and condoled her demise.
