Demow Police launched drive against gambling, cock fight

DEMOW, Jan 30: The Demow Police launched drive against gambling and cock fight in Krishna Bihari Katalasuwa near the river on Saturday.

According to sources, a team led by Manuranjan Gogoi, OC of Demow Police Station, launched drive against cock fight and gambling in Krishna Bihari Katalasuwa. Before the police reached the area, the gamblers and the organizers of the cock fight fled from the area. The Demow Police seized some motor cycles of the gamblers from there.
