TANGLA: "A new dawn of growth, development and prosperity have began in the Bodo belt. The overall development including infrastructure growth is key to ensure rapid growth and progress of the region. The Bodoland Territorial Council government is committed to ensure the development and growth of the region and ensure peace and prosperity among the different communities residing in the five districts of the Bodo belt. "This was observed by BTC Khalingduar MCLA-cum-Chairman of Tangla Municipal Board, Dilip Kumar Boro at the foundation stone laying ceremony of an RCC drain adjacent to Mangaldai-Bhutiachang road near Tangla English Medium High School in Tangla town of Udalguri district on Saturday. Boro formally laid the foundation stone of RCC drain under SOPD fund 2022-23 at an estimated cost of Rs 22 lakhs . The event was also attended by Ward Commissioner Diganta Kumar Rabha, Assistant Engineer of Tangla Municipal Board Bijoy Sarma, journalist Shajid Khan among others.
