Dhemaji Deputy Commissioner takes stock of progress of developmental schemes

LAKHIMPUR: Newly-appointed Deputy Commissioner of Dhemaji, Pallavi Phukan, who assumed charge on Tuesday, held a meeting with the officers and employees of the district administration on Wednesday.

The meeting was organized in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office. The meeting was attended by District Development Commissioner Arup Pathak, ADCs Jadab Pegu and Mirjana Hussain, SDO(Headquarter) Nandita Roy Gohain, DIPRO Bikash Sarmah, senior planning officer Prafulla Sarmah Baruah, Supply Department Deputy Director-in charge Birinchi Dutta, election officer Ruby Roy, Assistant Commissioner Trilina Taid and the Circle Officers of the Dhemaji, Gogamukh and Sissi-Borgaon Revenue Circles.

The Deputy Commissioner took part in cordial interaction with the officers and employees and took stock of the progress of the developmental schemes, being implemented in the district. She held discussion over progress of Mission Basundhara, Mission Bhumiputra, Jal Jeevan Mission, Orunodai scheme in the district and their present status. She also held discussion over border dispute, child marriage issue in the district and instructed the officers and employees to carry out their duties sincerely with regard to implementation of the developmental schemes and ensuring proper services to the public.
