DHUBRI: Dhubri Deputy Commissioner, Anbamathun MP shifted the 19 families to other place as directed by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma while he was inspecting the progress of Dhubri Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) on October 13
The contractor engaged in construction complained about encroachment in the DMCH complex at Jhagrarpar located on the outskirts of Dhubri town, because of which project was getting delayed. On seeing this physically on the spot, the Chief Minister instructed Dhubri Deputy Commissioner to shift the people elsewhere to pave the way for speedy completion of works.
Dhubri Deputy Commissioner took initiative and within a short span of time, shifted all the families to a nearby place and rehabilitated them there temporarily. The Chief Minister on seeing the progress of works physically, later told the media persons that Dhubri Medical College and Hospital would be be opened in 2022.
