Distribution of e-rickshaws and motorcycles at Udalguri district fishery office

KALAIGAON: A ceremonial function was organized in the premises of Udalguri district fishery office campus to distribute e-rickshaw under Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampad Yojana (PMMSY) on Friday.

The function was inaugurated by Dr. P. Uday Prabeen, Deputy Commissioner of Udalguri district. A total three e-rickshaws were provided to the beneficiaries likes Kuladhar Das, Napu Boro and Nur Abedin. Moreover, motorcycles with ice boxes were also distributed to fishermen like Amrit Sarkar, Satyaranjan Das and Ananda Devnath under the same scheme. Meanwhile, District Fishery Development Officer Bipul Kr. Khataniar spoke about the significance of the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampad Yojana (PMMSY).
