DME Assam to Close Online Applications for Grade III Non-Technical Posts

GUWAHATI: The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has made the announcement that the process for online application for the recruitment of Grade-III Non-Technical posts will be closed on 16 January 2025, so eligible candidates should apply through the official website of DME at dme.assam.gov.it.

Recruitment process includes vacancies totaling up to 765 posts. Some of the vacancies are for Laboratory Assistant, Statistical Assistant/Statistician, Assistant Librarian/Library Assistant, Steno-Typist/Stenographer, Health Educator cum Sanitary Inspector, Steno Cum Computer Operator, Health Educator, Librarian, and Dietician.

The selection process will vary somewhat for each Grade III Non-Technical post and will have multiple stages. Candidates will appear for written tests first. In case of specific roles, skill tests might follow. Final selection for a job will be on the basis of marks secured by candidates in all the stages combined, followed by a merit list.

The application process is quite simple for all who are interested. Applicants can go to the DME Assam official website. They can find the "New User/Register Now" button on the homepage and click it to access the registration portal. Candidates must enter some details such as name, date of birth, and mobile number and complete other required details on the application form to register for the different posts, and the candidate would need to upload the requisite documents while completing the online application form. It is advisable for applicants to download and retain a copy of the completed application form for future reference.
