Doctor suspended for alleged grabbing of property

KOKRAJHAR: Dr Subrata Mitra, Medical & Health Officer of Community Health Center at Balajan in Kokrajhar district has been put under suspension with effect from August 21, 2020. The Health department has ordered that during the suspension period DrMitra would not be able to do private practice and any mode of employment. His suspension has been ordered on the basis of case registered by the Kokrajhar Police following a complaint filed by one Ajit Paul. DrMitra has been charged with attempt to illegally grab joint property of Paul through criminal intimidation.
