Drama with the theme "Know our Assam" staged in Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH: With an aim to inculcate a picture of native state of Assam and to generate a pulse of patriotism in the heart of at least of few children through imparting knowledge of Geography of Assam, a meaningful drama with the theme 'Know our Assam (Amar Asomok sino aha) was performed by the students of Geography, 6th Semester class of MDKG College, Dibrugarh on Monday at Nagakhelia, the adopted village of the college amidst a gathering consisting of students, teachers, SMC member and others. The play had attracted much attention from all present. The drama played in the form of a train consisting of 33 stations meant for a total 35 districts of Assam where the school students were the passengers waiting for their train in their respective stations and the actors (i.e. the said college students) demonstrated about specified districts in an attractive manner.
