Historical drama Pobitora inaugurated at Morigaon Press Club

MORIGAON: A historical drama Pobitora, written by dramatist Binod Ch. Sarma, based on martyr Tilak Deka and the Assam Movement, was formally released at Morigaon Press Club on Friday.

Dramatist Binod Ch. Sarma's play was inaugurated in presence of distinguished guests at the Press Club by noted Tiwa writer Maneshwar Deuri. Earlier, a felicitation programme was held which was conducted by Jyotish Batman. The family members of dramatist Binod Ch. Sarma felicitated the invited guests Maneshwar Deuri, Mileswar Pator, Bubumoni Goswami, Birinchi Sarma and Dalim Phukan with a gamusa in the meeting.
