DHUBRI: In a bid to make Dhubri district free from drugs and all other illegal trade and activities, Dhubri police are leaving no stone unturned.

In a search operation conducted by Dhubri Police in a car at BOC, they recovered Nitrasum tablets from the possession of Abdullah Al Mohammad (37) of Ward no-14 and Saminur Rahman (42 ) of Indira Gandhi Road in Dhubri town on Monday.

In an another raid conducted at Chagolchara, two bikes (AS 17-J 0275 and AS 01-MB- 277) were intercepted and brown sugar and Spsphen capsules were recovered. Three persons, Ainal Haque (26) of Sagolchara village, Sofiur Rahman (40), Chotobasjani village and Saddam Husain (26) of Chotobasjani village under Dhubri Police Station, were arrested.

On the other hand, Golokganj Police conducted a search operation in front of Halakura PCP on NH 31 and intercepted a car (AS01BW2371) and recovered 400 suspected Yaba tablets and 12 gm suspected brown sugar from the possession of five persons namely, Anowar Sk of Chotoguma village, Naseruddin of Bholarkhas village, Ali Hussain of Pokalagi Pt- II village, Abdul Karim of Chotoguma village and Manoj Roy of Pokalagi Pt- II village under PS Golakganj police station of Dhubri district.
