Election Expenditure Observer for three LACs arrives in Sivasagar

GAURISAGAR: The Election Expenditure Observer for the three Legislative Assembly Constituencies (LACs) under Sivasagar Election District, namely, 103 Amguri LAC, 107 Thowra LAC and 108 Sivasagar LAC, Mahfoozur Rahman, a 2009 batch IRS Officer, arrived on Tuesday at Sivasagar.

After arriving at Sivasagar, the Election Expenditure Observer took stock of the functioning of various election cells at a meeting held at the Sukafa Conference Hall of the DC office, Sivasagar. The Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer for Sivasagar Election District, Bishnu Kamal Borah also attended the meeting along with senior administrative officers and in-charge officers of various election cells constituted for the smooth conduct of the ensuing Assembly Election in the election district. The Expenditure Observer offered various suggestions to the election cells.
