Excise raid conducted across Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: An excise search, raid and patrolling exercise was conducted on Saturday by the joint team of Margherita and Digboi Excise Circle, led by Akbar Hussain Barbhuyan, Deputy Superintendent of Excise, Margherita.

The operation was conducted at No. 1 and No.2 Alubari, Tarakuchi, Dibong Fakial, No.1 Lajum, and Ketatong Mini Bazar. About 100 litres of fermented wash (FW), 50 litres of Illicit Distilled Liquor, 2385 litres of IMFL, 5850 litres of beer and 4 sets of distillation apparatus were seized and destroyed in the operation.
