Excise raids continue in Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: Continuing its drive against illicit liquor trade, the excise department of Sivasagar carried out raids on Saturday. According to sources from the Sivasagar district administration, raids were conducted at Kalugaon, Mogorahat, Kalugaon Kothalboria, Pahigaon, Koibartta Deulia and several other interior places. The liquor dens operating in these areas were demolished by the team and cases were registered against those who involved in the illicit trade under the Excise Act.
