Expenditure registers of Lakhimpur candidates to be inspected on March 17

LAKHIMPUR: As per instruction of Compendium of Instructions on Election Expenditure Monitoring, August 2020, the first inspection of expenditure registers of the candidates from the four LACs of Lakhimpur district, is scheduled to be held on March 17.

The four constituencies are — Bihpuriya, Naoboicha, Lakhimpur and Dhakuakhana.

On the poll day, the Expenditure Observer will conduct the inspection of the expenditure registers of the candidates of Naoboicha and Dhakuakhana from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the conference hall of North Lakhimpur Circuit house. From 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, expenditure registers of candidates of Bihpuriya and Lakhimpur will be inspected.

In this connection, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Lakhimpur, who is the in-charge of the Election Expenditure Monitoring Cell, through a press release, called upon the candidates in contest from the four LACs to produce their expenditure registers, either in person or through their election agent or any other person duly authorized by them, before the expenditure observer on the stipulated day and the place.
