Family feud leads to brutal killing in Tinsukia district

DOOMDOOMA: Joselen Mura, a resident of Nijarapar, Dangri in Tinsukia district, allegedly killed his brother-in-law Ram Bhumij on Thursday night around 8 pm due to a family feud between them.

According to reports, Ram Bhumij declined to raise a bamboo fencing in his house which enraged Joselen and he brutally killed Ram Bhumij in a fit of rage by attacking with a knife. The neighbours handed over Joselen to Talap Police Station on Friday morning.

In the meanwhile, the body of Ram Bhumij was sent to Tinsukia Civil Hospital for postmortem examination. On the other hand, Joselen Mura is learnt to have been sent to jail after proper medical check-up at Doomdooma 30-bedded FRU. Victim Ram Bhumij is survived by his wife and five children.
