Father and minor daughter missing from Dimapur village in Udalguri

ORANG: In a concerning development from Dimapur village under Orang in Udalguri district, a man and his minor daughter have been missing for nearly a week. Thirty-year-old Thomas Munda and his 8-year-old daughter were last seen on July 30, after which their whereabouts have remained unknown.

According to sources, Munda’s wife, Maina Topno, had been working in Ganeshguri, Guwahati, for eight days. Upon her return to their home in Dimapur village, she was shocked to find both her husband and daughter missing. Despite extensive local searches and inquiries among neighbours and relatives, no concrete clues were found regarding their disappearance.

With no other option left, Maina Topno approached the Orang police station and officially lodged a missing person complaint on August 1.

The family has issued a public appeal requesting anyone with information on the missing father and daughter to contact Orang police station.
