Foundation day observed at Dr.Bhupen Hazarika Cultural Mancha in Demow

DEMOW: The second foundation day of 'Puhar' was observed at the Dr.Bhupen Hazarika Cultural Mancha in Demow Raichai Rural Stadium recently. A cleanliness drive was conducted by the women at Demow Raichai Stadium on the occasion. Kalyani Borgohain, president of Puhar, lit the earthen lamp. A team of children artistes of Thowra Doul Gaon performed the Diha Naam and after that the open session was organized. Rekha Rani Changmai presided over the meeting and Basanti Gogoi Handique spoke about the aims of the meeting. Borgeet, modern dance and poem recitation were performed on that day.
