Foundation stone of Jagiroad Stadium laid by Pijush Hazarika

JAGIROAD: The foundation stone of the proposed pavilion of Jagiroad Stadium was laid on Wednesday by Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare and local MLA Pijush Hazarika. While addressing the gathering at Jagiroad Sports Association playground near Jagiroad College, he said that initially an amount of Rs 50 lakh had been allotted for the pavilion but assured of more fund for the construction of the stadium. He also announced additional fund for construction of drains and solar lights at Jagiroad.

The meeting was also addressed by Union Minister of State for Railways and Nagaon MP Rajen Gohain. The meeting was attended by Morigaon Deputy Commissioner Rituraj Bora and Mayong CO Sanghamitra Boruah, among others.
