Four-day training programme on Population Census-2021 began in Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: The Tinsukia District Administration as 1st phase of forthcoming Population Census-2021 began a 4-day training program for Field Trainers’ at Zilla Parishad office from March 12. Bhaskar Pegu Deputy Commissioner of Tinsukia and Manjit Borkakoty, Census Officer and also an ADC formally inaugurated the programme. DC also appealed all trainers and enumerators to discharge their responsibility to make a successful exercise. A total of 44 field trainers from across the district have attended the programme. Kamud Kalita additional director of Guwahati Census directorate, Shib Kumar compiler was present in the programme. Rajit Dutta senior agricultural developmental officer, Asif SA Bora sub-divisional agricultural officer have been imparting the training as resource persons while Bimal Borgohain and Nabadit Borgohain of District Census Cell are assisting in the programme.
