Four farmers felicitated on the occasion of Krishak Swahid Divas in Morigaon

MORIGAON: On the occasion of Krishak Swahid Divas, Morigaon District Agriculture Office on Friday felicitated four farmers who have shown excellent performance in the farming sector in the district.

The District Agriculture Office formally felicitated the four farmers in the office premises. The officer of Oujari Krishipam, Dibajyoti Hazarika conducted the felicitation meeting which was presided over by District Agriculture Officer (DAO) Sayed Rajibur Ahmed. The DAO spoke about the importance of the historic farmers' revolution of Pothorughat and how the farmers had fought against the British in 1894 for their rights.
