NAGAON: Four students Parineeta Bora, Binju Devi, Gainashree Bora, and Mananya Sarma from Nataraj Nritya Sadhana Kendra Puranigudam won prizes in the international dance and music competition and festival, organized by Nataraj Kala Kendra and Rivi International Organization in the textile town of Sualkuchi recently, bringing pride to Assam. Apart from receiving the ‘Nritya Padma Sanmman,’ one student Prachurya Baruah won the first prize in the classical dance competition by performing Satriya dance. He also presented the International Dance Guru award to Kankana Sarma, the instructor of the dance school.
