JAMUGURIHAT: A free eye check-up camp convened by the All Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuba Sammelan and Naduar Press Club and supported by Arogya Health Mission in collaboration with ERC Eye Hospital, Tezpur was held at Dhobikhola MV School premises, on the northern part Jamugurihat on Thursday.

The eye camp was inaugurated by Lakhi Kanta Bora, president of Sootea Anchalik Panchayat. More than 100 people visited the free eye check-up camp. The patients were given free medicines and spectacles at low price. The camp was attended by Anil Bora, secretary of All Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuba Sammelan, Pranab Jyoti Bora of Arogya Health Mission, Chandan Sarma and Prem Tiwari of Naduar Press Club, besides other dignitaries of the area.
