Gateway inaugurated at Kamarbandha Bamungaon in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: A gateway which was built and donated to Jamuguri LP School at Kamarbandha Bamungaon in Golaghat was inaugurated recently. The gateway was donated by well known businessesman Tanuj Mahanta in fond memory of his parents Utsavananda Mahanta and Indu Mahanta.

In the inaugural ceremony, lighting of lamp was done by Golaghat District Satra Mahasabha president and Xatradhikar of Saulkuchi Xatra Tarun Chandra Mahanta.

The gateway was inaugurated by senior journalist and environmental activist Apurba Ballav Goswami. Smriti Tarpan and plantation programme were also held. Abhigyan Rajkhowa and Mudrika Sandilya performed Borgeet in the inaugural ceremony.

In the programme, headmistress of Jamuguri LP School Makhani Saikia, journalist Tulsi Prasad Dutta along with several other distinguished personalities were present.
