Gaurisagar Bibasayee Santha celebrates Rongali Bihu programme titled 'Bahagare Asondhya

GAURISAGAR: Gaurisagar Bibasayee Santha (GBS) recently celebrated Rongali Bihu with gaiety in Gaurisagar Tiniali with a programme titled 'Bahagare Asondhya'.

The programme started in the afternoon with Sivasagar district-level egg fighting. Later, a numbers of husori troupes like Borluit, Tangali, Bor Asom, Anajari, Pratidhwani, Lengdon and Jhanji Poria performed Bihu husori.

In the evening, cultural function was held. Dr.Ranjit Kumar Baruah, Principal, Dikhowmukh College inaugurated it. In the function, veteran artist Mohendra Hazarika and singer Monuj Borah performed songs which enthralled the audience.
