GMC Asks 61 Private Hospitals/Nursing homes In Guwahati To Submit 'Occupancy certificates'

Guwahati: Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) has served notice to 61 private hospitals/nursing homes across the city to submit their "Occupancy Certificate with as built plan" within the next seven days.

In a notification undersigned by Devashish Sharma, ACS, Commisioner of GMC said that, "Submit a copy of the "Occupancy Certificate with as built plan" of your hospitals/nursing homes to the GMC within seven days".

GMC has stated that they had carried out this activity for record-keeping and further verification purposes.

Prominent hospitals and nursing homes in the city namely Excelcare Hospital, Hayat Hospital, Ayursundra Hospital, Narayana Super Specialty Clinic, Sanjivani Hospital, Marwari Hospital, GNRC Hospital Ltd, Rahman Hospital, Downtown Hospital Ltd among others have also been asked to corporate with the GMC in this regard.
