Golaghat district administration prepares for Republic Day celebration
The Golaghat district administration is going to celebrate the 74th Republic Day in peace and harmony in the district.

GOLAGHAT: The Golaghat district administration is going to celebrate the 74th Republic Day in peace and harmony in the district. The district administration has tightened the securities measures. A day-long programme has been included to celebrate the Republic Day which will be started by launching by Prabhat Pheri in the morning. National flag will be hosting in government and non governmental offices at 7:30 am and floral tributes will be paid on the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, Martyr Kushal Konwar. Later, the National Flag will be hosted by special guest at Golaghat Samnnaykhetra.
On the occasion of Republic Day, a cultural programme and felicitation programme will be observed. After that, the Golaghat Lions Club, State bank of India, Golaghat branch and Rotary Club will distribute fruits to patients of Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital, prisoners of Golaghat district jail and new clothes to new born babies of K.K. Civil Hospital and persons residing at old age home, Bengenakhowa. A cricket match will also be held.
