Golaghat District Congress Committee stages protest rally against CAA

GOLAGHAT: The activists of the Golaghat District Congress Committee (GD-CC) staged protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act CAA on Thursday near the Deputy Commissioner’s office demanding the withdrawal of the Act.

The protesters strongly opposed the controversial Act and raised voice against the Central government as well as the State government. Attending the protest programme, former PWD Minister and present Golaghat LAC MLA Ajanta Neog criticized the government.
