GOLAGHAT: The Golaghat district administration has organized the fourth good governance week under the Administration’s Gaon Ki Aur Abhiyan from December 19 to December 24. In order to implement a largely efficient, transparent, and citizen centric governance system by the district administration, special camps have been organized at all the divisional offices of the district as well as the offices of every revenue circle officer and block development officer in addition to solving public grievances and pending issues across the district.

As many as 640 districts across India are participating in the ‘Administration Village Ki Aur’ campaign. District Commissioner Shri Pulak Mahanta, who is leading this important campaign in Golaghat district, requested all the officers for successful implementation of this campaign by improving the quality of public grievance redressal and service delivery to all the CSE officers.

The week-long programme will prioritize resolution of unresolved public grievances, organize special camps to ensure effective reach, and facilitate citizen-centric governance. The objective of this campaign is to improve service delivery and bring the administration to the citizens and procreate an atmosphere of transparent and efficient governance.
