Golaghat Excise Department conducts raid against illicit alcohol

GOLAGHAT: The Golaghat Excise department, under the direction of Excise Superintendent of Golaghat, Manabi Das, conducted a massive drive against illegal alcohol in Khumtai Athukoha Gaon under Khumtai Police outpost in Golaghat district on Friday.

As per reports, Excise Inspector (Sadar) Niranjan Das, and Assistant Inspector Nabin Bora, with the help of IC Khumtai outpost, Sekhauddin Ahmed, conducted raids in Khumtai area. During the raid, around 3,300 litres of illicit fermented wash were seized and 10 litres of distilled liquor were destroyed.
