UDALGURI: Golmagaon High School's diamond jubilee celebration began with a commemoration of the people's contributions since the school's inception. The school flag was hoisted by Hari Sarma, the president of school management and Development Committee while Rakesh Boro, the Chairman of Udalguri Municipal Board, flagged off the celebrations.
Other flags were hoisted by other distinguished persons. A memorial statue was also constructed to commemorate the contributions of the people since the establishment of the school. The memorial statue was inaugurated by Bishnu Sarma Neupane, the working president of the Jubilee Celebration Committee. The tribute to the people related to the establishment of the school was paid by Minan Mochahary. A district level quiz among the school children was also organized.
