Government to improve the cinema halls for the betterment of Assamese films- Jatin Bora

Assam State Film (Finance & Development) Corporation’s chairman Jatin Bora, during his visit to the Jonaki cinema hall in Tezpur, said that the Government of Assam has taken an apt step to improve the status of Assamese films and the cinema halls. The actor also added that the standard of Assamese film will improve only when the cinema halls will improve and an increased number of audiences come to watch these films in the halls.

Jonaki, being the first even cinema hall of Assam, bears a historic significance. The Assamese actor, in his visit to the theatre hall on Thursday, let people know that the Jonaki hall will also be renovated by the government to improve its standard. Bora added that the work of Jonaki cinema hall renovation will start from the first week of the October month and once it is done, audiences will find it much convenient and comfortable to watch Assamese films in the hall.

The actor further said that the Assamese film industry will get a new life and tempo. Notably, Jatin Bora will be seen in his upcoming film Ratnakar in which he will be seen in a unique role. With Zubeen Garg’s music and Barsha Rani Bishaya starring in the film, Ratnakar is expected to do particularly well. A recent music video release of the film gives a glimpse of the top quality techniques and story of the film.

Another upcoming Assamese film Kanchenjungha is also to hit the theatres. Notably, Kanchenjungha is the home production of Zubeen Garg in which he has both acted and given music. with the promotions for the film in full speed, the singer cum actor has made sure that every person in Assam goes to the theatre halls and watches his film.
