Guwahati: Assam flood has created a nation-wide sensation as people from all walks of life are seen to have come forward to extend a hand of help to the people in need. Right from the famous Bollywood celebrities to the Assam film and television actors, sports personalities, young athletes, administrative officers and the commoners have shown their generosity by choosing to donate for the flood victims of Assam.
Reportedly popular Assamese actor Jatin Borah has made a donation of Rs 1 lakh for the flood victims. The actor handed over the cheque of Rs 1 lakh to Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal to be added in the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF). Not only this, Jatin Borah has also addressed and requested the people of the state and nation to lend a hand of help for the people in need.
Making a social media post, the famous Assamese actor said, “This extremely unfortunate and sad for the people of the state to face the flood issues every year. I have extended my complete support for the flood victims of the state. Today I have made a contribution of Rs 1 lakh towards Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Kindly come forward to help our people.”
Another noted promising sports figure of the state, Riyan Parag Das of IPL fame too have come forward and showed an instance of generosity and dutifulness towards the people of the state. Riyan has made a contribution of Rs 1 lakh to the CMRF. Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal has taken to express his gratitude towards Riyan making a social media post:

Another Assam borne famous filmmaker who has lately been creating a sensation in the national and international platform with her outstanding film making traits, Rima Das too has proved that she too is a dutiful child of the land. Rima das has also made rs 1 lakh contribution for the Assam floods.
