GAURISAGAR: Atul Nath and Rupa Nath, a couple from Charing Telia village of Duliajan recently awarded Rs 10,000 cash to an ailing health worker Khageswar Nath, a resident of Telial village and former health assistant of Dibrugarh Medical College.

The amount was given on behalf of Anjanjyoti Nath Memorial Trust. The trust was opened in memory of Anjanjyoti Nath, the couple's only son who died in a road accident in November, 2019 at Duliajan.

Due to some grievances in his home, Khageswar Nath resigned his job and dedicated his service door-to-door for the health care of entire Charing and Hafaluting area. But surprisingly he has been deprived from his pension. The people of entire Charing and Hafaluting area expressed their satisfaction for the financial assistance given by Atul Nath and Rupa Nath.
