The most recent discovery, on Monday, involves the recovery of the body of Samaranjan Das, who was found deceased inside a vehicle belonging to Sis Prosegur, a Cash Management Company, in the Geeta Mandir locality. Das had been missing for three days before this grim discovery, and his family members have arrived at the scene as the investigation unfolds.

The body of Samaranjan Das has been sent for a post-mortem examination to shed light on the circumstances of his untimely demise. This incident follows closely on the heels of another perplexing case where the police had found the lifeless body of a transgender individual in the Chandmari area.

In a parallel development, the police have successfully traced the location of the mobile phone used by the deceased Amdadul Islam to Sivasagar, a city in Assam.
