Heroin seized, one arrested by Naharkatia Police

NAHARKATIA: A police team of Naharkatia Police Station busted one person with 2 gms of heroin at the time of naka checking in the South bank area on Friday. According to police sources, one youth of Naharkatia Jagun gaon namely Nitul Das alias Gutlu came from Duliajan side to Naharkatia on a motorcycle bearing registration number AS-06-Y-9962.

He has been caught by the police with 2 gms of Heroin at the time of regular naka checking at South Bank area on Friday. Later, Nitul was arrested by Naharkatia Police after registering a case number 185/21 under section 279 IPC, R/w sec. 21(a)/27 of NDPS Act 1985 and was sent to jail on Saturday.
