Hooch den busted by district administration and police administration at Berpeta

BARPETA: A huge quantity of illicit liquor and raw materials used for making liquor was destroyed by the district administration and police administration.

About 700 litres of illicit liquor were destroyed and hooch den with raw materials was busted at Bhetua and Upamoi villages under Barnagar revenue circle, Sarbhog in Barpeta district on Friday.

On Saturday at Balipara village, Chenga in Barpeta district, about 400 litres of country liquor were destructed.
