House gutted in fire at Santak Bor Mising village, no injuries reported

NAZIRA: A devastating fire broke out at the residence of Monika Marang in Santak Bor Mising village around 4 AM on Tuesday. The entire house was gutted in the fire, but fortunately, Monika Marang and her daughter, who were sleeping inside, escaped unharmed.

Although the house and all its contents were destroyed, no one was injured in the incident. It is suspected that the fire might have been caused by an unattended cooking fire. Locals complained that the fire brigade reached the spot only after the house had been completely destroyed.
