IGNOU Debraj Roy College Centre Organized Awareness Meet on Distance Education

GOLAGHAT: To create awareness on the rising demand for distance education, its scope and expansion, a meeting was held at IGNOU Debraj Roy College in Golaghat on Sunday. The meeting was organized by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Debraj Roy College Centre. IGNOU DR College Centre Coordinator Dr Suvanshu Dutta conducted the meeting and he delivered a speech about the present scenario of the distance education system and the role played by his centre to promote the same. Dr Khireswar Loing, Centre Coordinator of IGNOU, DKD College Dergaon, was present as resource person and he spoke about the role of the IGNOU in promoting distance education system. Director of IGNOU Jorhat Regional Office, Dr Anil Bora attended the meeting as chief guest. Principal of Debraj Roy College, Dr Putul Chandra Saikia was also present in the meeting.
