Illegal liquor seized, four arrested in Tezpur

Tezpur: Acting on a tip-off, an excise raid was carried out on Friday under areas of Missamari and Pithakhoa under Excise Circles of Sonitpur district. The raid was supervised by SE, Sonitpur. During the course of the raid, seven cases BL of IMFL (for sale in Arunachal Pradesh) were seized. Also, about 12 liters of illicitly distilled liquor were destroyed. Four persons were arrested during the operation, official sources said.
