Illegal Saw Mill Demolished at Barpeta District

BARPETA: One illegal band saw mill at Baravita village in Barpeta district has been shut down and the machines seized after forest personnel conducted a raid here on Friday. "The illegal saw mill was operating under the Bahari Beat, Barpeta Road Range. As soon as the forest personnel detected the illegal saw mill, they raided and seized the machines. Some logs were also seized. No arrest was made.
