Illegal timber network exposed in Tinsukia, wood worth Rs 3 lakh seized

DIGBOI: In a strong enforcement push against rampant timber smuggling, forest officials of the Khatangpani Range under Doomdoma Forest Division carried out a high-impact raid near Tarani Reserve Forest in the Tinsukia district on Saturday, exposing a well-entrenched illegal timber network.
