Indian Army rescues boy from joining ULFA-I in Jagun

Bases on specific input, Jagun Indian Army carried out a well-planned and coordinated operation on Thursday and rescued a young boy from joining the ULFA-I outfit.

JAGUN: Bases on specific input, Jagun Indian Army carried out a well-planned and coordinated operation on Thursday and rescued a young boy from joining the ULFA-I outfit. The young boy, who was lured to join the outfit, has been identified as Bapu Das (28), a resident of Dhubri district. He was later released and handed over to his parents after counseling.

The rescued boy got in touch with ULFA-I through their social media handles, after which he travelled a long way from Dhubri to Jagun to join the group.
