Indian Medical Association (IMA) Team Meets Bereaved Family of Dr Deben Dutta

JORHAT: A four-member team of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), including national president Dr. Shantanu Sen, general secretary Dr. RN Tandon, honorary secretary general Dr. R.V Asokan and finance secretary Dr. Ramesh Dutta, besides IMA State president Dr. Satyajit Bora, State secretary Dr. Hemango Baishya and State finance secretary Dr. Tonmoy Sharma met the bereaved family members of Dr. Deben Dutta at his Teok Jagduar residence on Wednesday.

Moreover, the IMA members submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal seeking proper investigation into the brutal killing of Dr Deben Dutta. Indian Medical Association demanded immediate arrest of everyone involved in the case and appropriate compensation for the family. IMA headquarter supported the action initiated by its Assam branch to get justice from the Government of Assam, which was signed and forwarded by IMA national president Dr. Shantanu Sen and honorary secretary general Dr. RV Ashokan. The IMA team also met and discussed the brutal killing of Dr Deben Dutta with Jorhat Deputy Commissioner Roshni Aparanji Korati.
